Feb 2009 - Planning Consent Granted For Goldtone House Data Centre Project
Pioneer Technology has confirmed the grant of planning permission by Epping Forest District Council to construct a new data centre in Loughton comprising an existing building of 26,000 sqft on 1.2 acres which will offer 10,000 sqft of technical space.

Located close to Junction 5 of the M11, and within the M25, the property is available on a freehold or leasehold basis, either as an enabled shell with power or fully fitted to suit occupier requirements.
“With limited availability in terms of sites which are ready to go, we’ve been able to secure this consent which in parallel with the availability of power means we can offer an existing building on a bespoke basis as available for immediate occupation.”
Steve Allen, Managing Director of Pioneer Technology
Charles Carden, of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Data Centre Advisory Group, who are marketing the property added, “Loughton remains a strategic location for Data Centre occupiers with excellent transport links into London and the financial markets. We are now able to offer certainty and can deliver a self contained facility to suit occupier requirements.”
